"Overall, I'm liking our first SUV. Very comfortable when traveling and great, low gasoline usage. The Murano feels solid, secure, to ride in. I'm a bit smug - I keep checking out the other SUV's I see around town and ours always is the most stylish on the roadways! We had a white car when first married but my husband and I both like the deeper, pearl white finish much better. If I could do any redesigning, I'd make the back hatch easier to unlatch and lift open. And I'd certainly put a helpful handhold on the front bracing of the front seat windows, not up above my head. I want to see the handhold and use it to help get in and out of the vehicle, not swing from the ceiling. I wonder if it's too late to install two, after purchase? I'm a bit embarased by the "racing engine" sound when starting our Murano. I've had it back to the dealership and a mechanic said, "no it's set right - they all sound like that". Sometimes, when doing errands, I wait until no one is nearby before pushing the keyless start button and hearing that roar."

By Zach Bowman For those who suffer a daily commute through heavy traffic, your vehicle's braking system can bring thousands of pounds of metal, plastic and empty Starbucks cups to a stop hundreds of times before you get to work. It goes without saying that these pieces wear out, but they do so slowly, meaning you may not notice they need attention until ...
