  • "I love the car. Push button start sometimes doesn't work. The screen for the radio should be bigger. I bought the Limited version which is the top of the line, so it shouldn't really lack anything. I love the lights and the way they shut down automatically after closing the door. Even if you leave them in the On position they will turn off. No more dead batteries. I like the way the lock and unlock is configurable. I want all of my doors to unlock with one push of the button, so I liked being able to change the configuration to suit my needs. The headlights really light up the road great. My 2012 Tucson had very poor headlights. This car has a lot of zip and takes the bumps nicely. It is really fun to drive. The most negative comments I have are for the cheap windshield wipers. I had to replace them immediately on my new 2012 Tucson a few years ago, and I was disappointed that the wipers on the 2014 were just as bad. The push button start has also failed to work on several occasions. Both of the remote key fobs have issues periodically. I replaced the batteries and took the car to the dealer. Unfortunately, when I took it to the dealer everything worked fine. The problem is intermittent, but enough to make me wish the car did not have push button start. I had push button start with my Nissan Altima for 4 years and never had these problems. The ECO function on this car works much better than it did on the 2012 Tucson I had previously."

It goes without saying that these pieces wear out, but they do so slowly, meaning you may not notice they need attention until ...
