"I have owned my 2014 Murano for close to 2 years now and I feel like I can give you an impartial review of the car. I am completely dissatisfied with Navigation system. Previously I had been using a Garmin unit that you simply placed on the dashboard of the car. The Garmin is significantly easier to use that the built-in navigation unit. The Garmin displays restaurants with a visual indicator telling you if the restaurant is ahead of you or behind you. Keying in an address is much easier on the Garmin. With the built-in unit you have to specify the city first and then the address if you hope to find the correct location. The Garmin allows you to search by name only and gives you the closest location to you. With the Garmin I have free lifetime updates, with the built-in unit I have to buy a disk from the dealer annually to update the maps. I am so dissatisfied with the built-in unit that I have put my Garmin unit in the center console and I use it even though I have a built-in unit. The back up camera works fairly well, but it is somewhat hard to see in bright sunlight. I feel like it would be better if the display was recessed into the dashboard another inch or two effectively shading the display. It is also difficult to use at night or in the rain. Since the blind spot warning uses the same camera it is practically useless in the rain giving you many many false alerts. The same is true with the lane change indicator. Reflections off of the wet road interfere with it's operation. Other than the items I have mentioned, I am very pleased with the lane change monitor and the blind spot warning. These are two very useful safety items. I have become somewhat dependent on them. Oh, I still look before changing lanes, but the monitor gives me that warm fuzzy feeling that there isn't anything in the lane. The 2014 Nissan Murano LE is one of the most comfortable cars that I have ever driven. Mine is equipped with a V6 engine and it has more power than you need which is saying a lot for a normal aspirated engine. I didn't select the Fuel Efficient option, but considering the size of the vehicle and the fact that it isn't equipped with variable valve timing it does extremely well on gas. Overall I am very happy with my Nissan Murano and would consider purchasing another at some point in the future. My honest opinion is that The Murano gives you more options for less money that their competitors. It is a very nice car."

"This is the second Murano I have purchased. The first was a 2007 and it was handed down to my daughter and still going strong with 143,000 miles. Knowing the quality and the reliability of this vehicle brought me back to purchase my current 2014. We are even helping to look for a newer used one to replace the 2007 for our daughter. We also travel for work rent vehicles, and our first choice is always Nissans."
